Cleveland Elementary Block Party & Service Project
march 23rd
This Easter, we are partnering with Cleveland Elementary School to help the kids and teachers finish the year right while also impacting the community surrounding the school.
There are three phases of this project:
- First, we will be resupplying teachers with what they need to help get the students over the finish line.
- Second, we will be doing service projects at the school. Specifically, we will be revitalizing the school garden and soccer field.
- Third, we will put on a huge block party for the school and surrounding community.
Our vision is to do something BIG in the lives of those kids and for the whole community, and we need your help to pull this off. Look below for more info on how you can help.
School Supply Drive
Starting Sunday, March 3rd, we will be collecting specific school supplies to bless the teachers. The supplies that the school needs are pencils, crayons, gluesticks, colored pencils, and most importantly, printer copy paper.
As you gather those supplies, please bring them to church with you, and place them in the bin in the upper lobby.
Service Project
We will be meeting at Cleveland Elementary School to perform a meaningful and impactful service project. We want to show the community that we care in a big way. So come ready to work hard and maybe get a little dirty to show God's love in a practical way.
The two areas we will be focusing on are the Community Garden and School Soccer Field. Each of these areas are in need of TLC. Please register using the link below to participate in the Service Project.
Block Party
On the afternoon of March 23rd, we will be throwing a Big Block Party for the community around Cleveland Elementary School in Dayton. We will need a lot of help to pull this off and make it a fun and impactful event. You can choose which area you volunteer in, we need everything from set-up and tear-down to face painters and grill masters. Thank you for partnering with us in loving our community.
